LITTLE BIRD DELICATESSEN / LITTLE BIRD GELATO

Little Bird is a beloved gelato maker and delicatessen from a power couple of the Minneapolis hospitality industry. They started out by selling wholesale to local restaurants and retail in independent specialty stores. As their business rapidly expanded and they explored a brick-and-mortar path, they approached us about taking their visual identity to the next level. We worked closely with them to craft a graphic language that spoke to the sophistication and polished simplicity of their product, something that would stand out on the shelves as the “grown-up” option. After developing a logo, mark, typeface, and color palette, we set to work on packaging. We created a base pint container design along with a sticker template for Little Bird to use to differentiate between flavor options. Finally, we conducted extensive research on packaging vendors, facilitating vendor selection and communication throughout the ordering process.
