Cafe Yoto

Cafe Yoto is a neighborhood Japanese café in Minneapolis's North Loop, founded by Chef Yo Hasegawa. Inspired by his thoughtful approach to everyday Japanese dining, the concept pairs handcrafted food with a playful, contemporary spirit. We partnered with the team from day one to build a visual identity that balances simplicity with personality, creating a brand that feels lighthearted without losing its sense of refinement. Through bold graphics, expressive illustrations, and a restrained design system, we brought consistency across menus, packaging, signage, merchandise, and digital experiences. Every touchpoint was designed to feel welcoming, memorable, and effortlessly modern.
